New Interim Examiner Takes Charge in Effort to Revitalize Horse Sport Ireland!

In a significant move to safeguard the future of Horse Sport Ireland (HSI), an interim examiner has been appointed. This decision comes in the wake of serious financial instability faced by the organisation, which is integral to the equestrian community in Ireland. HSI, employing 47 full-time workers, has found itself heavily reliant on grants from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, as well as Sport Ireland. The appointment of the examiner, sanctioned by the High Court, is a proactive step to navigate through the financial challenges unfolding within the organisation.

With an increasing number of horses in training and a growing fan base, the financial woes have raised eyebrows within the community. While funding from public bodies has been crucial, it appears not to have sufficed in shielding HSI from the stormy economic weather.
